The Little Dapper Bird is one of the newest members of The Shores series note and greeting cards. You can just tell he has colorful opinions and stories to tell.
Each card in The Shores Series is made from a print of the 2010 oil painting, La Jolla Shores in the 1950s.
That's where I spent most of my childhood; in a lovely pink house with orange trees, green lawns, blue skies and a blue ocean in La Jolla, California. One day I had the idea of turning a print of the colorful painting on its side and making candles for a friend's birthday card. It became
Birthday Candles! and from there grew into The Shores Series of greeting and note cards.
